Welcome to Beckon! By utilizing our mobile application, you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions:
1. Service Availability:
Our repair services are subject to availability at the Surat City, India, location.
We reserve the right to refuse service if we are unable to fulfill your request due to operational constraints.
2. Booking Process:
You must provide accurate information while booking repair services through the mobile app.
We are not liable for any delays or issues arising from incorrect information provided by the customer.
3. Service Charges:
Service charges are clearly mentioned within the app and are subject to change without prior notice.
Additional charges may apply for parts replacement or additional services not covered under the repair service .
4. Payment:
Payment for repair services is processed through the mobile app using secure payment gateways.
All charges must be settled after service completion.
We accept various payment methods as specified within the app.
5. Cancellation:
You may cancel your booking through the mobile app within the specified time frame to avoid penalties.
For instant booking If you cancel the call before the engineer accepts it, you will not be charged any penalty. But if you cancel the booking after engineer acceptance, then there will be a penalty charge for you based on the services.
For the future booking if you cancel the booking once any engineer is assigned but before the 1 hour of booking time then there will be no penalty charge, but if you cancel the booking within the 1 hour of booking time then penalty will charge in this case.
Also, if no engineer is assigned for future bookings, there will be no cancellation penalty.
Since the Mobile Application offers non-tangible, irrevocable goods & services, we do not provide refunds after the product or service is purchased or used, however, we provide a re-visit for particular services availed, which you acknowledge prior to purchasing any product in the Mobile Application. So, please make sure that you’ve carefully read the service description before making a purchase of any services. Guarantee, warranty, and replacement of spare parts as per the manufacturer only.
The payment, transactions, and give & take of customers should only be with the company officials only. Beckon is not responsible for any direct payment to the technician, inconveniences, theft from workers, workers not finding work, etc. All the payment transactions only & only via beckon Official Payment Modes.
Payment Processors: We may use a third-party payment processor (“Payment Processor”) to bill you through your selected mode of payment. The processing of payments will be subject to the terms and policies of such Payment Processors in addition to these Terms. We shall not be liable for any error of the Payment Processor. In the event of any unsuccessful payment, the money debited shall be credited in accordance with the terms of the payment processor.
6. Warranty:
We provide a limited warranty on repaired parts and services as per the terms specified within the app.
The warranty does not cover damages resulting from mishandling, misuse, or unauthorized repair attempts.
The Platform may include services, content, documents, and information owned by, licensed to, or otherwise made available by, a third party (“Third Party Services”) and contain links to Third Party Services. You understand and acknowledge that Third Party Services are the sole responsibility of the third party that created or provided them and that use of such Third Party Services is solely at your own risk.
We make no representations and exclude all warranties and liabilities arising out of or pertaining to such Third Party Services, including their accuracy or completeness. Should you avail of a Third Party Service, you shall be governed and bound by the terms and conditions and privacy policy of the third parties providing the Third Party Services. Further, all intellectual property rights in and to Third Party Services are the property of the respective third parties.
7. User Responsibilities:
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials for the mobile app.
Any unauthorized use of your account must be reported immediately to prevent misuse.
8. Data Privacy:
We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy.
By using our mobile app, you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined in the privacy policy.
9. Limitation of Liability:
Beckon Home Services is not responsible for any loss or damage that occurs during the service, solely (Technician/Vendor) has to pay the price to the respective client and sort out the issue. Service Partner will be totally responsible for its cost and for its replacement. Under any circumstances, unconditional event, Court CASE, Sections customer claimed, technician/vendor needs to handle & manage the customer and pay the price, beckon - Best Home Services App is not responsible for it.
You represent and warrant that all information that you provide in relation to the Services and Pro Services is complete, true, and correct on the date of agreeing to these Terms and shall continue to be complete, true, and correct while you avail the Services and/or the Pro Services. Should any information that you provide change during the existence of these Terms, you undertake to immediately bring such change to our notice. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for any loss or damage that you may suffer or incur if any information, documentation, material, or data, provided to avail the Services is incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading, or if you fail to disclose any material fact.
You shall extend all cooperation to us in our defense of any proceedings that may be initiated against us due to a breach of your obligations or covenants under these Terms.
Risk in the products/services passes to you upon delivery of the products/services to the delivery address by the Third provider. Beckon does not have any liability and you shall have no claim against beckon , for any loss or damage that the products/services provided to you may have suffered during transit.

10. Inspection & Acceptance:
The client shall inspect any of the services performed or deliverables performed by the Service Partner before acceptance and if the services performed are found to be unsatisfactory, the Client may require Service Partner to redo, replace, or repair the work done in that respective time in order to bring such to full compliance with the requirements, at cost of Service Partner only. Under any circumstances, unconditional event, Court CASE, Sections customer claimed, technician/vendor needs to handle & manage the customer and pay the price, beckon is not responsible for it.
Should any defect be not corrected by re-performance, or fails to promptly conform to the services and/or deliverables as defined by the requirements or specifications, action will be taken against the Service Partner/Vendor. In case of the extra scope of work, repair, and service at the client’s premises, the Service Partner needs to add on the quotation and let beckon know the ongoing work and its feasibility.
During the inspection of respective categories like Repair & Services or other work, etc. the Service Partner must share the quotation given to the client for further action and future claims
11. Insurance:
Any kind of insurance (health, life, etc.) will be not be provided to the service partner, he should totally do the work on his responsibility, beckon Home Services will not responsible if any unconditional event (death, accident, etc.) happens with the technician.
Beckon prohibits discrimination against Service Professionals, including on the basis of race, religion, caste, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, sex, marital status, gender identity, age, or any other characteristic that may be protected under applicable law. Such discrimination includes but is not limited to any refusal to accept Pro Services based on any of these characteristics.
We request that you treat all Service Professionals with courtesy and respect and that you provide them with a safe, clean, and appropriate location to perform the Pro Services. Service Professionals shall be entitled to refuse to perform Pro Services if you have not provided a safe, clean, and appropriate location for them, or you behave towards them in a manner that is discourteous, disrespectful, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate. We reserve the right to withhold access to the Services and otherwise limit your access to Pro Services at our absolute discretion if you behave towards any Service Professional in a manner that is discourteous, disrespectful, or abusive, or which we otherwise deem to be inappropriate or unlawful.
12 . Other Conditions:
If you cancel the call before the engineer accepts it, you will not be charged any penalty. But if you cancel the booking after engineer acceptance, then there will be a penalty charge for you based on services.

If you have made a booking and the engineer has accepted and set out to come to your location, you will have to pay the visiting charge, which is the minimum charge.
If the engineer takes a photo of your device upon arriving at your place and you notice any problems with it, please report it immediately. No complaints will be addressed after this point.
If you have any concerns with the engineer, then contact our customer care.
After the session starts by engineer, if there is a need for any additional items or extra time, you will need to approve it. Any additional charges incurred will be borne by the customer. If you choose not to proceed with the additional service or extra time, you will still be required to pay the minimum charges.
Once the engineer arrives at your location, if you directly order any service or material without our intervention, the company will not be held responsible.
It is necessary to inform us through the app if you are engaging in any transactions without our knowledge, otherwise, there will be no follow-up and responsibility from our end.
If there's any issue with the service we've provided, you can request a reopening within a week. Upon reopening, you'll receive the same service again free of charge within that timeframe. After one week, the option to reopen the booking will no longer be available.
Please make sure to carefully read the description of any service before booking, to avoid any conflicts later on.
We will not accept any liability for damage to data or parts that may occur during the engineer's service. Therefore, it is essential for you to take the backup in advance.
If the GST number provided is incorrect and you're unable to avail of any referrals, the company will not be held accountable. It will be necessary to rectify the GST number before filing the GST return, after which the bill will not be changed.
If you book multiple services at once, the visiting charges for each service will be separate based on the service category.
The validity of any offer or discount coupon must be used before expiration. No complaints will be entertained after the expiration date.
No Vendor-Client Relationship. And do Not sharing personal information.
The service partner/vendor and customer should not share any personal information (phone number, mail, address, etc.). If anyone seen caught doing the same, a straightaway serious penalty will be issued & the account of both customers/vendors might be removed/unlisted without giving any prior notice. And beckon will not be responsible for any damages, loss, theft, etc.
Beckon is not responsible if the vendor makes personal deals with the customer. All the transactions and payments must need to be done via beckon only. Beckon will not responsible in case of theft, loss, and uncovered work by the vendor as doesn't go as per our terms & conditions.
Beckon will not be responsible for the direct relationship between customer and vendor for any loss, damage, theft, pending work, etc.
If there has been any dispute, misconduct, or altercation with the service provider, such as the engineer, we do not mediate in their response. We solely provide a platform for customers and engineers to connect. We have the details of the engineer available, which we can provide to you. Apart from that, any issue that arises will be between you and the engineer to resolve.
13. Provisions are severable:
Each provision of this agreement (including these conditions) are severable. Severance does not affect any other provisions.
14. General Instructions:
Service providers listed at Beckon Platform who have processed and delivered your ordered products/services are solely responsible for the quality, delivery, and billing of the goods/services. Beckon only acts as a channel between you and the service engineer (Provider)
If any dispute or issue arises between the customer and the service provider, such as damage, data loss, or any other problem during the service or a legal proceeding, both the customer and the service provider will participate in the resolution process. Beckon will not intervene in this matter. The entire compensation or resolution will be jointly assessed and decided upon by the customer and the service provider.
We make no representation and give no warranty or undertaking (express or implied) as to the timeliness, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, or reliability of the Platform or its content for any particular purpose.
We will not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, injury, or other claim or outcome arising from your reliance upon the website or the website’s inability to meet your needs.
We will not be responsible for any delay, failure, interruption, or corruption of any data or other information transmitted in connection with your use of the platform, which is beyond our control. For the avoidance of doubt, we do not accept responsibility for any interference or damage to your computer system that may arise in connection with your use of the website or any linked website.
Notification:
By creating an Account, you agree that you may receive text (SMS) messages as part of the normal business operation of your use of the Service/platform. You may opt-out of receiving text (SMS) messages from beckon or third party service provider at any time by informing backon your decision to stop receiving text (SMS) messages. You acknowledge that opting out of receiving text (SMS) messages may impact your use of the Services/platform.
15. Governing Law:
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws in India. Any dispute arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Surat, Gujarat, India.
We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page.
